This is one of those creations that is ‘so obvious’ once you have seen. But they have refined and fine tuned their offering to make a simple and easy to use result.

Wendy Lee – Petroglyph

We enjoy miniatures. That is, detailed small objects and ones of fine materials. What attached us to this booth was the Netsuke. Amongst a multitude of antiques objects including antique Asian art pieces and jewelry. One of a kind pieces of silver, mother of pearl, jade, bone, cinnabar and materials we didn’t recognize were the finely carved Netsuke animals.

If you enjoy refined collectibles objects then you must search out Wendy Lee’s booth. The challenge is that she only does shows and doesn’t have a website. So this is one of those unusual sources where I’m going to give you their direct contact information. She is a very knowledgeable and personable individual and you will enjoy meeting her and seeing her offerings.

Wendy Lee – Petroglyph, P.O. Box 7323, Menlo Park, CA 94026 – (650) 851-0434  (You can send a LSASE for her show schedule).

The Quick Ripper

This was great!
A simple, lite, hand held, cordless tool to rip out seams that is so easy to use. Now instead of being a chore & delay you can resolve things quickly to get back to completing enjoying your project.

There will be a video demonstrating how easy the Quick Ripper is to use. In the meanwhile you can go to http://monicasquiltandbead.com/ and ask Monica to send you more details.

Olfa Deals

Olfa Deals is at almost every show we have attended. Their offerings are complete and their knowledge solves problems.

We had a cutting mat that was still putting of a strong odor even though we had used it for a while.

There is a solution offered by ‘Charlie’, the owner, at their ‘Tips and Tricks’ page http://olfacutterstore.com/tips-tricks.htm but at the shows he has a more detailed hand out to resolve this problem with some of the rotary mats.

This is one of those dependable sources that is always helpful. Be sure to check their show schedule and pay them a visit at the next show.

Barn Quilts for your Home

Classic Metal Company has created a fabulous accent product that would be great indoors or out. Inspired by traditional quilt patterns they have silhouette ‘quilt blocks’ created from heavy-weight steel from sizes of 1 and 2 foot squares. They also offer to the ability to convert your favorite quilt design into a metal work-of-art.

Often the story of how individuals ended up creating and offering products for the quilting world is as interesting as the products they produce. Right now they don’t have a ‘about us’ page on their website but we hope they add one for your enjoyment. Another great thing about Classic Metal Company is their products are Made in the USA.
